I watched the interview of Tony Alamo by Julie Bandares, and I was instantly reminded of his defense of polygamy. It was an offshoot and twisted interpretation of scripture. What is the believer's answer to all of this? I believe it stems from God's original plan that a "man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh." (Genesis 2:23-25) A marriage is a covenant relationship between one man and one woman that reflects the relationship of Christ and the church. In my opinion, polygamy is a twisted, sinful act that wears the mask of "biblical background" when it really is just an excuse to be sexually promiscous.

This interview was very informative, there were many things said in that short interview that was an eye opener of me. I am thankful that Dr. Walker has taken the time to study these groups so that we can be informed as to what is going on in these cultic groups.
It is a shame that these things can be happening in this day and time and we have allowed it to happen this long. I am glad these kids are being removed and I am thankful that the word in going out informing people of this social and religious injustice.
