Muslim convert kills 1 soldier, wounds another in Little Rock

The Associated Press reports that Muslim convert, Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad also known as Carlos Bledsoe was taken into custody yesterday after the shooting of one soldier and the wounding of another soldier at a Little Rock Army Navy recruiting center.

According to KATV in Little Rock, authorities say Muhammad will face one charge of capital murder and 15 counts of terroristic acts. Authorities also said that they found an assault rifle in Muhammad's vehicle and he is believed to be acting out of "political and religious motives." The authorities also believe Muhammad was acting alone and was not a part of a broader terroristic group. One has to wonder if Muhammad will also be charged with hate crimes.
